Dog Licensing

All Dogs six (6) months old must have a rabies shot and be licensed according to the Municipal Ordinance. Dog licenses are to be renewed during the month of January of each calendar year. A late fee of $5.00 per month for every month that you are late will be assessed when you renew the license.

The rabies shot must be valid through November 1^st of the licensing year. If not, you must get your dog a rabies shot before a license can be issued.

Failure to comply with the ordinance could result in a summons.

If you own a dog and it is unlicensed, this notice will hereby give you five working days from the date listed below within which to make arrangements to renew or purchase a new license for your dog through the Township Clerk’s Office. This five (5) day grace period does not excuse you from the late charge of $5.00 per month (after January 31); the purpose of the grace period is to give you time to license your animal(s), otherwise a court summons may be issued.

The Clerk’s hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, excluding holidays. If you have already licensed your dog(s), please disregard this notice.

2024 Fees

$10.00 for neutered /$13.00 for non-neutered, with a late fee of $5.00 per month beginning February.
