LOPATCONG TOWNSHIP CLEANUP – 2021

Date: Saturday, September 25, 2021

Time:  7:00 a.m.-12 noon

Two Sites:  Lopatcong Fire Co. No. 2, Strykers Road

Lopatcong Pool Parking Lot, Willdew Avenue

RESIDENTS will be allowed to discard items in accordance with the rules set forth:

ü  Residents will be verified at sites before dumping.

ü  No chemicals, hazardous wastes, household garbage, tires, tree stumps, or dirt.

ü  No liquids of any kind.

ü  Household items permitted included furniture, mattresses, and white goods (stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers).  Refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioners and de-humidifiers will not be accepted without a certificate that coolant was removed as per the State of New Jersey regulations.

ü  All white goods will go to the pool location on Willdew Avenue.

ü  Lawnmowers must have gasoline and engine crankcase oil removed.  No oil cans, drums, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, or other fuel oils.  No liquids of any kind.

ü  All smaller items must be bundled, bagged, or boxed no more than 4-feet in length including brush and metal.

ü  No masonry or large quantities of construction materials.

ü  No vehicles larger than a pickup truck or small trailer may be used to transport materials.

COMPUTERS AND EQUIPMENT / TELEVISIONS AND ELECTRONICS AS WELL WHITE GOODS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE POOL LOCATION ONLY.
